Micropiles
These are structural elements used in semi-deep foundations. They spread loads to the subsoil by means of compressive, tensile and bending forces, being able to work independently, linked to each other, or combined with another type of superficial foundation.Unlike piles, micropiles have a smaller diameter and length.
They are mainly used in foundations of
new structures, reinforcement of existing foundations, stabilization of slopes, containment of excavations and anchoring of special structures.
Some advantages:
Agile and economical construction procedure.
Recommended as simple or compound containment elements
Viable for foundations of light to mid- weight structures
Versatile and efficient in spaces which are confined or have height restrictions
A practical solution when working with unfavorable soil conditions
